Capitol Prayer Network

Burnsville Prayer Network meets the third Tuesday of each month from 7-8 PM. We will meet at Faith Covenant Church (Room 230), 12921 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville, MN 55337.

This is nondenominational and strictly directed toward praying for the City of Burnsville including our schools, government, media, entertainment, businesses, churches, and families. Please feel free to bring a friend. For more information call Sharon Auldrich at (952) 890-6749

Hundreds of homosexual activists rushed out of bars and swarmed a group of Christians who were singing songs in San Francisco’s Castro District – and some even threatened to kill the worshippers.
I’m told the Homosexuals are all about love. I don’t see love here!

The definition of GLBT is any Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender, or sometimes referencing anyone who is not heterosexual.
Scripture says because of their immoral ways (sin) they are given over to a delusional mind. Romans 1
In other words, they start believing their sin is good for them, and others are wrong_.Isaiah 5:20. We are not helping anyone by encouraging them in something that will continue to hurt them and their families. Even if their was proof of some type of genetic association as some sexual predators have claimed, it still doesn’t give them moral permission to act on it. The Bible needs to be our foundation.

The GLBT agenda is trying to change what we think and eventually what we believe, thus you will see them attempting to change dictionary definitions and even scripture to suit their lifestyles. The sin of homosexuality is no different then any other sin, all though the consequences are. We are to show love to everyone but stand firm in our faith. We need to love them enough to tell them the truth!

Stop all abortions

1.There’s a preacher and wife who are very, very poor. They already have 14 children. Now she finds out she’s pregnant with their 15th! They’re living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you recommend she get an abortion?
2.The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have four children. The first child is blind, the second is dead. The third child is deaf, the fourth has TB. She finds she’s pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?
3.A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she became pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?
4.A teenage girl is pregnant. She’s not married. Her fiancé is not the father of the baby, and he’s very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?

If you would have recommended abortion in any of these situations, you should know that…
In the first case, you recommended killing John Wesley, one of the great evangelists of the 18th century.
In the second case, you recommended killing Ludwig Von Beethoven, one of the most famous musical composers of all time.
In the third case, you recommended killing Ethel Waters, one of the nations leading gospel singers.
In the fourth case, you have just recommended killing Jesus Christ.

We affirm the historic Christian faith and proclaim the life-transforming Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel is good news, the very best news anyone can hear.

The one living God, who eternally exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, loves everyone.
God uniquely revealed and inspired the Bible, so that it alone is God’s Word written, hence the Holy Scriptures are the only inerrant authority for what we believe about God’s moral law, salvation from sin and how we should live.
Since the disbelief and disobedience of Adam and Eve, all humans have failed to obey God’s two major laws summed up by the Lord Jesus Christ. We have failed to love God with our whole being and we have failed to love our neighbors as ourselves. People have become slaves to selfishness and are alienated from God and one another.
Jesus’ death in our place reconciles us to God. His atoning sacrifice provided redemption from the power of sin, forgiveness for our guilt, and reconciliation to Himself and others. We become acceptable to God, or justified, not by works, but by God’s grace alone, through faith in Christ alone. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit draws sinners to repentance, belief in the Gospel and trust in the risen Christ of whom it speaks. The Holy Spirit then assures believers of salvation, gives them gifts for servant ministries, and empowers them to meet the needs of the lost, the poor, and the oppressed.
All believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are members of His body called the church. Its unity is displayed when we reach beyond all manmade lines to demonstrate the Gospel’s reconciling power.
Our primary calling is to communicate the Gospel to everyone in our generation and nurture disciples. Nothing must divert us from carrying out our Lord’s Great Commission until His glorious return to reign in righteousness.
